upwork. English Verified. How to get easy?
There is an idea to get English Verified. How it's done?
It seems that the client himself can confirm the level of the language. But how? Any type of contract? any amount? Can a client from my own country of residence with zero history of contracts do this))).
Looks like some tests. But it is not clear what, and what to do next. I have Intermediate, I want to confirm Conventional. I correspond almost without difficulty, I almost do not understand live speech on Skype.
What for? I stared so hard .. all sorts of verifications seem to give goodies when displayed in the overall rating of freelancers. I'm not sure that I'm not confusing cause with effect, but patterns can be traced.

Here is the answer to your question.
In short, there are only 2 ways to verify your English skill:
- download a certificate from Duolingo or Cambridge English confirming language proficiency;
- your client will confirm that your Fluent level is in the contract;
Now about certification. The Duolingo
certificate can be obtained directly from their website (as I understand it), the cost of certification is $20. As stated on the same site, the certificate is comparable in quality / prestige to TOEFL and IELTS .
For a Cambridge English Certificate
you need to contact the appropriate center in your country. For example, in Russia there are testing centers in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Khabarovsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Volgograd and Ulan-Ude. Testing can be carried out on one of a number of programs (there are a lot of them). The price can be found in the local center.
Either way, good command of the language, both written and spoken, is required for verification through certification or customer validation.
Of course, if you do not convince your client to verify you just like that. But for this you can get a ban :)
By the way, I noticed that some people do not have any test loaded, there is no work history, and the Basic or Conversational level is verified.
If anything, I'm sorry, but there is one application that will just give you a little practice before passing the test. You literally memorize each question on the test, and then practice taking it as many times as you want.
The app is called UpYourLevel English, here is the link on the market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....
