Upgrade laptop Samsung np300e5a does it make sense?
Does it make sense to upgrade a Samsung np300e5a laptop, is there a more top-end modification with a core i3 and a discrete video card, can it be put on the motherboard, there is space, but apparently you need to solder something, well, is it possible to put this core i3 if the board is the same?

To make such an upgrade (letter de) means to unsolder the video chip (and not the card), solder two (or 4) memory chips to it, two capacitors, a choke, several resistors, another CO, deal with the BIOS ... (it will turn out to be more expensive than repairing with replacing the video chip, because you still need to figure out how to connect it).
If you find someone who wants to mess around, he will charge you about the same (but rather more) as for a new motherboard with all the contents (without a processor, of course) bought at some service laptop store or on eBay / Ali.
It's just to install a new processor - most likely much easier, you may not even have to configure or solder anything. And if you search, you will surely find even more sophisticated equipment on the same board, with some kind of i5 / 7, but you will have to dig a little (or a lot) there.
