Computer: Sell or upgrade?

Good afternoon, two years ago I assembled this miracle:
Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5 2500k
Video card (GPU): SAPPHIRE HD7870
Motherboard (MB): ASUS P8Z68-V LX
HDD 1 TB, 8 GB RAM, AEROCOOL VX case -E
All this came out to ~ 35,000 rubles . At the moment, these characteristics breathe down the back of the head of the requirements of new games, such as GTA V, Battlefield 4 and Hardline, which no longer pull at ultra settings.
I think it's time to upgrade before it's too late.
The idea came to upgrade: go to the red side of evil (AMD), that is, buy an FX-8350 or FX-9590, and accordingly to his mother. (I'm counting on decent overclocking)
What do you recommend? Sell this assembly, and if so for how much? Or sell the i5-2500k with the motherboard separately and upgrade with that money? And is it worth updating at all?

Depends on which part you plan to update. If only a stone and a mother to him, then definitely an upgrade. The whole assembly will be sold no more than the sum of the sale of all components separately (rather, even cheaper). But at the same time, you plan to update a smaller part of the entire hardware. In fact, it turns out that you sell most of it at a used price in order to buy similar new ones. That is, just pay the difference between buying and selling.
In addition, after all, the graphics more often rests on the video card than on the processor. And 2500k is still a cake, I think (no longer a gamer's opinion).
In general, to be honest, I don’t understand people who are chasing hardware close to the top for the sake of ultra-graphics. Games without gameplay can not be pulled out by any graphics. And in high-quality games there was a pixel on a half-screen, and nothing, the immersion effect is the same.

2500k is very relevant. Taking into account overclocking, it makes no sense to change and for a long time.
For gaming, upgrade your graphics card.
And buy an SSD.
A downgrade to FX-8350 is not even funny. fcenter.ru/online/hardarticles/processors/34445-Ob... For games, this is definitely not.

Oh, the horror of the game on ultra settings does not pull, an urgent upgrade!
AMD-shniks seem to be not very good in games.
I think the bottleneck in your system is the video card, change it to something like gtx 980 and you will be happy for a couple of years ahead. Or even better - a pair of 970. But I'm not sure that the percentage will reveal the full potential of the card, and then it would be nice to take some i7 from above for reliability.
And, well, yes, what is the use of all this goodness when the system is on hard?
