bought and installed:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 SLAWQ 2.83GHz 12M Cache 1333 MHz FSB Socket 775
but not with it signal from the video card, put back the old one and everything is fine .. I tried to remove the battery, it did not help.

I didn’t pick the specs, but I’ll try to guess: is the firmware old? Update the BIOS.
