UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME Did the hard drive crash?

Good day! need help. Notebook toshiba m505.
When you turn it on and select "normal windows boot", it shows the boot window, after which it shows the UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME blue screen for a second and reboots.
Reinstalled the system. on the previous system, everything was the same, only the error was number 0x000000ED
If I select "system restore" or "error elimination", then a window with a blue background and a cursor is loaded. The keyboard does not respond to pressing the buttons, the cursor only moves. Waited a long time, nothing happens.
Checked with chkdsk
, writes
Windows has checked the file system and found no problems.
but at the end this is
Failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50
and even at the beginning, where it says something about the volume amount there "????????????????", i.e. if it does not define.
It is also interesting that yesterday I tried to reinstall the system for a long time, unsuccessfully, because everything hung at the "start of installation" .. then I knocked down the BIOS settings, changed the disk to "compability" and somehow everything worked. the system was installed, I even managed to use it yesterday, download the driver for wifi. though the system took a long time to boot, which caught my eye. And today, obsessed with the desire to figure out why it is loading so slowly, I came, turned it on and I see that again the same problem that was before reinstalling the system .. help me out !!)

@melkij

Start by checking the health of the HDD. Boot into MHDD, watch smart and do a surface test.
