Cheap network storage without frills for the home?

Good afternoon! I need a home network storage with 2/4/5/etc (not very many) hard drives. They will all be different in volume and manufacturer. Purpose: accessibility in the home network, SMB-sharing, more or less convenient administration interface, and most importantly - not a biting price. Ethernet connection.
Surely someone has already encountered this :)
