Unknown device usb when connecting local printer, why?
There is a domain laptop (WS7 64bit)
When a printer is connected to it via USB (canon LBP7010), it appears in devices and printers, but it does not print from it. The error Unknown device usb CODE 43 also appears in the "device manager" and in "devices and printers" when I connect the printer.
At the same time, there is an HP that is also connected via USB, and prints regularly from any USB port.
I changed the USB cable between printers, there was no sense, I connected it to different ports, there was no result.
All manipulations were carried out under administrative rights.
I reinstalled the driver for the printer, no result.
I don’t understand where to dig, or the firewood on the usb motherboard somehow flew off, but while another printer and mice print, flash drives work.

Try manually specifying the printer driver for the device. Maybe it doesn't auto tighten...
