Unity space gravity how to implement?

I'm making a game about astronauts and I have a few questions:
1 how to implement smooth space gravity so that the player seems to float?

you write a simple motion controller based on acceleration, you poke movement + N units of movement along the vector, you don’t do motion attenuation, this system works 2/3D, and there’s nothing complicated about it.
