Unity How to make an object react to a collision with a player only from below (like a block with a question in mario)?

1. Make a small collider/trigger at the bottom of the object.
2. Make this collider/trigger on the character's head.
3. Calculate the motion vector of the object that is encountered.
I would choose the first option
