Unable to uninstall Visual Studio 2012

When trying to uninstall VS express for windows phone 2012 (windows phone SDK 8.0) from win8.1, the installer gives an error "Windows program compatibility mode is enabled. Please turn it off and try the installation again." At the same time, no compatibility mode is enabled on the installer file itself. I searched on the Internet - everywhere they either advise to check if the file's compatibility mode is enabled, or download the utility from microsoft fixit, but the utility is not available for win8.1. I really don't want to delete everything manually, what should I do?

HM interesting. Try using the installer, select "repair". And then, when it restores, try to delete it.
