Ubuntu16.04 and Windows LAN?

I want to share files securely for a laptop from Ubuntu 16.04 to Windows 10, how to do it in a "straight-handed" way? Thank you for good sources.

Samba of course. What is there to invent.
In Ubuntu, you should be able to see the balls from Windows out of the box. If they are in the same locale.
In the opposite direction from Ubuntu to Windu did not check.
If it doesn't work then install samba.

Samba, ftp, sftp (via ssh). The first option is already configured in Windows, the third option is configured without any problems in ubuntu.
