Ubuntu trusty: breaks during installation! How to be?

I put 14.04 from under 16.04 on a btrfs subvolume mounted in /mnt
1) debootstrap trusty /mnt
2) mount -t sysfs sysfs /mnt/sys; mount -t proc proc /mnt/proc; mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev; mount --bind /dev/pts /mnt/dev/pts;
3) Suyu in the sources list:

deb http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-security main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates main restricted universe multiverse

4) locale-gen en_US.UTF-8; update-locale LANG=en_US.UTF-8; dpkg-reconfigure tzdata .....
5) do apt update; apt upgrade
At first everything is fine, but then, after a while, ashhips start to fall:

@syxoi

In general, I did not find the source of the problem. How to get around this problem:
1) Use the same version of the OS from which boubuntu is installed
2) Or install the system, excluding the repositories with updates, and then, after booting the system, update it.
