Ubuntu does not start after installation, how to fix it?
After partitioning the disks, installing the system itself (Ubuntu 14.04.1 "Trusty Tahr") from a bootable USB flash drive, at the end of the installation an inscription appeared like "The system was installed successfully ... and so on" and at the bottom the restart button, after pressing the computer rebooted but again the GNOME window came out with items like: Try Ubuntu, Install ubuntu as during the first boot from a USB flash drive, during the reboot (i.e. after installation) the USB flash drive was not removed from the computer. If you need to reinstall ubuntu, tell me how you can delete those volumes (partitions) so that they are all removed from them, and re-defragment the main hdd.

Apparently, the download is not from the hard drive, but from the USB flash drive. Change the boot option or just remove the flash drive
