Ubuntu 20.04 (default Gnome) does not run bash script from desktop - how to fix it?

subject :)

As far as I understood through googling - the problem is common - but I still do not understand what can be done with this and can anything be done at all?

So far, I got out like this:

1. Created a folder on the desktop.

2. In this folder I placed soft links to the bash scripts I needed.

But I want everything to work right from the desktop, as in Windows)))))))

Ubuntu 20.04 Russian with default settings.

The "Desktop" folder in the home directory is directly called that (most likely this is the case).

In general, help in any way you can plz :)

upd .: based on the "answers":

- Scripts work everywhere except directly on the desktop.

@fzfx

Fix your bash scripts so that the bug that prevents them from running is fixed.
To answer in more detail, you need to know what kind of error occurs when you run the bash script. Or at least the text of the bash script.

Have you made them (scripts) even executable?
Or so, just created and thrown into a folder?
