Ubuntu 19.04 touchpad not working?
Hi guys. I give up, for the third day I can not fix the touchpad myself.
I bought a laptop on dos, rolled ubuntu 19 there, everything works great, except for the touchpad.
The xinput --list command does not see the touchpad itself.
Did according to this instruction https://losst.ru/ne-rabotaet-tachpad-v-ubuntu-16-04 does not work.
And in principle, all other instructions do not differ from this one.
Now I'm sitting with a wired wired mouse.
ps the touchpad itself is enabled on the keyboard.

This helped me:
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
Brought it to this:
...
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash pci=nocrs"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="initcall_blacklist=elants_i2c_driver_init"
...
sudo grub-update
reboot
Lenovo ideapad 5, Ubuntu 20.04
