You can boot from the Windows 8 installation disk. And select the recovery menu, there is a utility for finding lost partitions on your hard drive. I myself recently restored a deleted partition on a screw in this way, installed Linux Mint and mistakenly chose to erase everything. Linux mint naturally erased the partition table and created his own. :) But everything worked out. :)
