Ubuntu 12.10 killed windows 8 bootloader and disk partition?

Friends! Need advice urgently! Computer needed!
I created a flash drive with ubuntu 12.10 and restarted the computer, I decided to check whether it is loaded from the flash drive or not, it was necessary to check the performance of the flash drive.
Selected Try but do not install , ubuntu booted. I turned off the computer, removed the flash drive, but it does not boot!
I stuck a USB flash drive with Windows, I can not restore it. began to understand - diskpart disk 0 is not GPT !!! And he was, strangely I think, how so, he said not to install ubuntu, why she erased the markup incomprehensibly ...
What to do in such a situation?
We urgently need your help!

When playing with such things, they usually use the method of disconnecting the combat hard drive and connecting the test one, otherwise you never know ...

Boot from the live seat and restore the bootloader, check the disk with a checkdisk.

Okay, thanks for the quick replies! Restoring the GPT partition did not help, there are no partitions on the disk ... I am restoring from an old backup, but at least something.
If anyone can understand why this happened and explain how to solve this, I will be grateful, what if it happens in the future?
In general, I blame the Windows program for creating a disk with ubuntu, but who knows what it was (

You can boot from the Windows 8 installation disk. And select the recovery menu, there is a utility for finding lost partitions on your hard drive. I myself recently restored a deleted partition on a screw in this way, installed Linux Mint and mistakenly chose to erase everything. Linux mint naturally erased the partition table and created his own. :) But everything worked out. :)
