Two questions about iMac?

Hello!
There are two questions regarding iMac 27", 3.1 GHz, i5 (2011):
1. This device comes with 4 GB of RAM as standard. I would like to increase it to 16 GB. What do you recommend? What brand, frequency, etc.? I think to take this Samsung SO-DIMM DDR3 4GB PC12800 (1600) - will
it work ? OS X version 10.7.3
Many thanks in advance.

Memory must be PC3-10600 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM. The manufacturer is irrelevant.

2. Although not on the topic, but my Win7 behaves like this. Several times it turned on on its own, although the response to network activity is also disabled.

Take Samsung memory - Apple puts it in its machines - I was very surprised when I changed the memory on my iMac memory and found Samsung sticks - unofficially iMac supports 32GB of memory - but you rarely see 8GB sticks anywhere.
Wakes up at night to perform office programs. It's okay, that's how he takes care of himself.
In general, just in case, in the settings you can check the box so that it does not wake up from network connections

Memory take the cheapest. 8 GB sticks are not relevant in the next couple of years (unless, of course, you count something big on the iMac).
At some point, I got used to the fact that my Mac mini works all the time.
