Two questions about freelancing?

Hello. I have two questions:
1) Is it true that there is no point in freelancing now, that there is price dumping, a bunch of cheap performers from the east, etc.? Those. office/remote is much more profitable?
2) But after all, cheap performers take the simplest orders, but there must be +/-
complex ones. Maybe it makes sense to gain experience in the same office or somehow by yourself and just take orders that Indians do not take?
I will be very grateful for the answers!
PS I myself know php (symfony) at the junior level, I almost don't know how to typeset.

You are asking a very abstract question!
If you think like that, you can, in principle, go to the cemetery on the sly.
What to do if there are "performers from the East", there are Chinese, there are Azerbaijanis!
Competition is everywhere. And if everyone had the same mindset, there would be 1 monopoly entity in each area, others would simply not see the point in climbing there, because "already busy" (exaggerated).
There are always enough customers for everyone! But their number depends only on your attitude and perseverance.
And I'm wondering, to what level will you gain experience if you have no idea about freelancing and have never worked in this way? How do you know if it's enough or not enough "scored" yet?
Do you already know the answer to it?

Find a market where your knowledge will be in demand, for example, there are a lot of programmers on WP, but there are not so many on instantCMS and there is a demand for good specialists
