Turing and neural networks - has anyone tried it yet?
An uncle in a leather jacket promised that on RTX video cards, the speed of training neural networks would increase significantly compared to Pascal. Has anyone already tested this with concrete examples? Is there any data comparing the learning rate of the NN in Pascal and Turing? Not advertising and customized reviews, but real numbers.
I read somewhere on Habré that, for example, Volta is good in convolutional networks, but in recurrent networks, the increase is not significant. Therefore, we are more interested in data on recurrent networks.
