Need translation of words for pdf files for pc, i.e. when reading literature in English, in order to click on words that I don’t know, but for example, in a pop-up window, the translation of this word, for example, through google translate, preferably some kind of canopy to the foxit reader, otherwise I’m used to reading through it, I will be very grateful.

Hmm… ABBYY Lingvo can translate on hover, right? Or are there any restrictions?

I also use Client for Google Translate for these purposes , it translates by selecting / clicking on a word (a click is an ordinary selection). But it seems that from December it will only be paid. About Lingvo, see above.

All the software that I saw works only when a word is selected (+ pressing a control or something else).

The whole point is that there is no need to highlight words at all. Clicking the mouse to highlight a word is an unnecessary action. And if at the same time you also need to press the ALT key, then this generally starts to annoy.
It is enough that just when you hover over the word with the mouse, the translation appears.
Once upon a time there was, back in DOS, such a program. I used it myself, and it was really very convenient.
We should make such a program. Too bad there isn't enough time.
