Transition of the office to thin clients. Question about software?
There is an office with 50 computers. I would like to transfer at least a quarter of users to thin clients. I installed Windows 2008 R2 SP2 on a virtual machine (XenCloudPlaform), assigned it the role of a terminal server, did the initial setup of everything else, installed the update support.microsoft.com/kb/2592687/ru. There is also a physical server with Windows 2008 R2 SP2, but the result on both servers (virtual and physical are identical) is a delay in playing sound / video on the terminal.
I used wtware and a standard Windows rdp client as a client terminal OS, but in wtware one interesting thing arises: If you open a video on youtube or music vk.com, pause and wait 5 minutes, and then start it, then the brakes disappear and play clear sound and video - I think it's in the buffer or something similar.
Help with advice on how to solve the problem of audio / video lags through rdp?
And I am also interested in alternative options for creating a terminal infrastructure in the office using more or less budget technologies (citrix ica and others are not suitable because of the very high cost of licenses)
