Transition from analog to VoiP telephony: which is better gateway or new devices?
Hello. We want to transfer a small office (23 subscribers) from analog to Voip telephony. We want to take the gateway on 24 ports. Or is it better to buy new SIP phones?

With analog phones, analog PBXs work much better.
When operating through a gateway, analog phones will not have caller identification. It may be difficult to set up advanced features such as call hold, call waiting (second line).
I would recommend buying as long as the budget of SIP-devices lasts, for the rest to install softphones and issue headsets.
If implemented correctly, the authorities will quickly understand the problem and find money for universal telephone installation.
If the budget allows, I would take sip phones, if not - eltex gateway(s).
