Transferring a laptop in the cold and then starting it immediately

Hello everyone, good evening!

The question is what. With the cold weather that came to the Moscow region, as the owner of a laptop (I became one only in May this year), it became necessary to somehow bring my laptop and work (by public transport + on foot) so that when I come to work it was possible to turn it on immediately, without waiting for it to “thaw” from the frost. I carry my EEE PC in my backpack. So:

what would it be so handy to wrap it up, so that at -15 he would be in “this something” at the maximum, as if at 0 degrees. Blanket? Wool sweater? Camel's wool?

What is more efficient? Who faced?

Thanks in advance!

Now, if it weren’t for laziness, I would have created “Transfer of male genitalia in the cold and their subsequent immediate launch. In general, what underpants do you wear?

Thermocouple, wires + frozen balcony and start testing and draw graphs T, ° C from t, c. It seems to me that a woolen case + wrapped in packaging polyethylene (with bubbles that everyone loves to poke) should win.

Yes, do not care the laptop in the cold. I have been carrying it in my bag for more than 12 years and wandering around the world - nothing has happened yet. I do use laptop bags and backpacks. Good ones.
Purely theoretically terrible humidity. Accordingly, you can not shove scarves and gloves with snow into the compartment with beech. It is bad when the compartment is completely sealed and in general the bag must be kept clean and dry.
Still frosts can plant the battery. The cooled Li-Pol significantly loses its capacity, and since it does not like a strong discharge, you just need to immediately plug it into the network. I die in the prescribed 2-3 years, which is standing all the time at home, which is wearable.

Use the case that came with her bag. For peace of mind. And all will be well.

For many years I have been carrying laptops in a backpack in Siberian frosts (below minus fifteen), I have never had any problems.

I recommend buying a case. There is a special, small for netbooks. I don’t know what’s inside, but it more or less keeps warm.
And, of course, do not carry it in your hands, but put it under a jacket or by a belt (as many notebooks were worn at the university :)), but this is not very convenient.
Plus, do not turn it off, but carry it on. So he will warm up the cover and get the heat back

I used polystyrene for this purpose. After the repair, there were panels 50x50 cm and 5 mm thick. I cut out two pieces to the size of the backpack so that they cover the laptop on both sides when worn.
