Asus m4a785-m does not start, the speaker is silent, what should I do?

They gave the mother Asus m4a785-m, at startup the image does not give out, the speaker is silent, there is no post card. It does not complain about the presence or absence of RAM. The bridge heats up noticeably enough, the chipset is warm, I added a percentage from another mother, it should be working - the processor is warm (for some reason it does not heat up to the maximum, I run it without a cooler). There are two mosfets near the bridge, one of them is so hot that it is impossible to hold a finger. I tried to take out the battery, no result. And one more thing: the standby power LED lights up somehow dimly, and at startup it becomes a little brighter, I don’t know if it should be so.
What with her? Replace the mosfet or something more serious? Could this be due to the fact that I am running the mother from an old PSU with a 20-pin connector instead of a 24-pin?

I figured it out a long time ago, there was a typical problem for this mother - the RAM power supply track burned out. After soldering earned.

Replace the mosfet or something more serious?

Check with a multimeter (or a simple probe) for a short circuit.
Although the short circuit may not be in the mosfet, but in the bridge that it feeds, that's why the boiler.
additional 4 wires are only +12 volts of power and ground, two of each, with a small load it can work without them.
