Training layouts in a portfolio?

Good afternoon/evening dear connoisseurs.
Finally, I got to compiling my portfolio .. and while compiling it, I faced the following question:
Is it possible and is it allowed to put in my portfolio not real projects, but training layouts? That is, I found a PSD layout on the Internet and made a layout based on it. How do employers view this? And is it even worth filling your portfolio with such things? Thank you! I will be glad to any reasonable answer!

You can, just try to google the selected layout, the less it catches your eye, the better. I do not presume to judge whether this is good or bad, after all, the skill develops. It is better of course when there is a really working project.
