Tracking and control of production stages?

Such a thing, I want to install equipment with a program in the production www.uglichkran.ru , which will allow me to track the part at every stage of its manufacture. The program has accounting, and at each workplace there is a monitor on how to manufacture this spare part (part), possible offers were with magnets, or like paper stickers with a barcode in a supermarket ... but then it becomes necessary to re-stick after processing ... but that's okay scary! Could be so!
Anyone else have any ideas on this? Maybe someone knows people who do this? I've been looking for two months now and can't find anything similar. The bottom line is that, worker, taking a blank with a magnet or a barcode already on it, he noted that he (Vasya) took the blank and carried it to be processed. then, after processing, he again applied a barcode or a magnet to the part and immediately gave the cut part to another workshop (Petya), Petya,
in turn, somehow marked it, made a beep, for example, on a barcode scanner, and the program displayed: what and so the part FRG-40 moved to the drilling shop. further Misha to the welding workshop - further to Kolya to the painting workshop and to the warehouse, and if it is a magnet, then with the ability to put it on a new part and re-encrypt ....

Why not use trays for parts? Glue a barcode on each tray, it will not need to be re-glued each time after processing. If the part is not large at all, then measure their number not by the piece, but by several pieces (for example: "there are 20 parts on this tray"). If the part is very large, then attach a tag with a barcode to it. If you re-paste this code every time, then the workers will just get sick, they will lose a lot of time.

What you describe is called a traceability system. Do a Google search, there are plenty of links.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you more precisely about machining. In our electronic production, barcodes are used on reels of components, and printed circuit boards are marked using a laser with a unique 2D code. The software is called PanaCIM - it is a complex customizable MES system.
I am sure that there are ready-made solutions for the production of your type.

carabi.ru
we work in this DBMS All
products, upon receipt, are marked with an individual barcode
There is a history of all body movements / changes in the product
It is possible to replace the barcode with a new one while maintaining the history of the previous barcode materials The ability to write off non-recurring costs for the product (through statistics) Automated creation of requests based on the balance of both consumables and finished products Any statistical reports by themselves
The main thing is that barcodes on parts / products are a database - based on this, the work of not only production and warehouse is automated, but also absolutely all personnel, without excluding anyone. All employees of the enterprise work only in the internal program.
For completeness, there is:
- an internal forum (this is really relevant)
- internal and external telephony is attached (with a record of negotiations, if necessary, in a DBMS)
- 1s is attached
