If you were invited for an interview, then there is something for it. If the summary did not lie, of course. Look at the interview questions for system administrators, learn the answers to the ten most popular ones, the OSI model is there, how the switch differs from the router, and all that.

If you have never worked as a system administrator and don't know what it is - why are you going to this position?
If you are a programmer, do it. A system administrator and a programmer are two completely different professions.
