To whom to give the old servers and hardware?

In our data center , from time to time the question arises of where to put the old servers. Clients leave something, something remains from renting servers that we leased 5-15 years ago.
There are things that can be sold, and there are things that are not for sale or are no longer worth anything. By law, you can’t throw away old iron, and it’s wrong to litter landfills. It is also not clear where to take it for recycling. And this problem is nationwide. Plus, writing off all this on paper is a separate problem. The easiest thing to give.
In what forums does it make sense to post such information? Ideally, we would have some kind of organization like young technicians or what are the houses of pioneers now called? So that the paper was, we handed it over, they accepted it.

Are you in Moscow? If we were in St. Petersburg, I would take it.
Donate to orphanages and hospital departments, for example, they will take anyone.

Rusonyx used to distribute servers to the needy for free.
Here are articles on Habré:

For us, it works to the state of "you can't look without tears" and then it is thrown into the trash. I think it can be distributed to any state institutions in which there is always a problem with funding - schools, hospitals, libraries.

You weren't looking for buyers. I would take a couple of servers from 2010, we have a small telecom operator, we don’t have money for anything, but we would buy it for a penny, so that at least you can beat off the hassle of delivering to the TC.
Put on Avito at least a thousand with delivery to the mall and they will buy them from you)

Didn't find what you were looking for?
