There is a serious question. I would like to prove to one organization the effectiveness of using modern technologies that have been successfully used in the world for quite a long time. The area of ​​activity is the creation of various websites.
It is customary for the company to develop its own solutions, which at some point really work very well. But years and decades go by. Technologies are emerging in the world that perform the same task better. And no one develops the internal technologies of the company, because it takes time and organizational efforts. An example of such a situation is described in question #493 .
Let's say I work for a company that has been making websites in the Brainfuck language since 1993. Under it, even developed its own CMS - "ShitHappens".

Me: It's high time to make websites in normal programming languages, for example, in python. And if the project is serious enough, then it is possible in Java.
R: Why? we've been using Brainfuck all our lives and we're happy with everything.
me: In other languages, you can make websites a hundred times faster, and even better. The Internet is no longer the same as in 93. Websites have become complex, Brainfuck has remained the same. You can’t do much of what is now considered the norm for a good site on it (I give examples).
R: Okay. You are talking about Python. Why not PHP? After all, everyone knows him. Today, 55 resumes have been published on Habré that mention php and only 11 that mention Python. Will there be any problems with finding programmers?
Me: I don't even know how to explain it... There are five times more PHP developers, but it's still easier to find an adequate Python developer. This is due to the peculiarities of the history of these languages, and the explanation of such a situation would take too much time. Also, only 20 people worldwide can program on Brainfuck. All of them already work (worked) in your organization, and no one considered this a problem before.
R: But there are only 8 operators in Brainfuck. Any student can learn it in 15 minutes. We are recruiting them.
me: Making websites with 8 operators is much more difficult. The higher barrier to entry into the technology is offset by the efficiency of its application (Java is a good example). In addition, the entry threshold eliminates very weak programmers.

Do you really use Brainfuck, or can you still give a more objective comparison? It is not yet clear whether the company is running into old inefficient technologies, or if you just want to use python in production.
It is necessary to prove not the effectiveness and expediency of switching to python (as the question is posed), but the inefficiency and irrelevance of the existing approach in comparison with it.
