What distance for twisted pair is acceptable?

Hi all.
Please tell me,
I need to conduct an Internet from point A to point B (from the office to the warehouse), they are located at a distance of about 200 meters from each other. I want to run the cable outside, along the wall on the street. WiFi does not finish from the office - a lot of screens - trucks, warehouses, refrigerators, etc. ...
If you just throw a twisted pair - will there be any loss or weakening of the signal? Do I need to install any signal amplifiers?

The cable is different for the cable, if normal copper is up to hundreds of meters, if what is being sold today is cheap, then 50 would not be thrown.
Given the distance, throw optics - get rid of the fear of thunderstorms.

It is guaranteed that the local network will work with a cable length of 100 m between active equipment. From my own experience, it works at 120 m. But at 180 m it no longer works. In your case, if 200 m is a distance not in a straight line, but at the place where the cable is laid, then you need to put a hub / switch in the middle of the cable. And do not forget about the power supply and moisture insulation of the supplied equipment.

if you don’t have money for optics, try these vdsl modems - zyxel.ru/p-871m
with an external loop at a distance of 200 meters is capable of holding up to 80 Mbps

Either optics or VDSL (optional Zyxel, you can Planet VC-231)

The standard is 120 meters, and it is better to comply with it! At 200 meters, most likely it simply will not work. Well, at least the cable is needed outdoor. It is better to buy a terminated optics and you will be happy! Additionally, a couple of converters, for example, D-Link DMC-515SC or any SFP inserts in switches, 1500 rubles each.

either optics, or look for the P-296 cable. You can get up to 200 meters on it
. But better optics - less hemorrhoids

pull the optic. or stick in the middle of the switch. alternative - WiFi with directional antennas. But then get ready for no speed.
so - optics, since now everything has become inexpensive.
Yes, and if you do not pull it yourself, then against the background of the price for work, both optics and copper will be all the same.

more than 100 meters - it will work, if shielded, it will work even more, but the speed will drop to the lower standard: if 1000/100/10 at both ends - there will be 100 Mbps, if only 100/10 - there will be 10
reason - current speed in the conductor, 100 meters, it runs at 100/1000 Mbps with all error corrections, and already more than 100 - it doesn’t have time in a second and switches to another protocol of
course - there is a limit from above - 200-300 meters in practice, for the same reason - current power
, unfortunately, I don’t remember how much of the experience, maybe 150, or maybe all 200, taking into account the premises, here you can only try practically

cat5 / 6 according to the specification 100 meters (taking into account switching, it is better to take less - 85-90).
I would recommend paying a little extra and throwing optics.
