Time wages. How do you organize work under the tracker?

Share your experience of working under the tracker. I understand that everyone uses their own program. I'm interested in working conditions. How often do you physically work out the prescribed 8 hours? How strict are the measures? For example, the tracker turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity, and counts only pure time. I decided to think about the program with coffee, but it does not turn on during the time. Who else saw what moments from the customer. Isn't it like buying a programmer for the price of a tech.

Working with a tracker is, first of all, a way to understand the real complexity of a task and justify why one task is more expensive than another.
The "fixed" 8 hours is nonsense. Who laid them down and for whom? 6 hours on a typical day when you don't have to put out fires is normal. And 16 hours a day when you have to put them out is also normal.
If the tracker tracks in such a way that the tracked time is not enough, increase the cost of this time so that you have enough money in total per day. Let you have, for example, 2 hours of pure time and $400 a day. Why not? If the client is not satisfied with how much you earn for your money, let him look for another contractor. This is the market.

Usually you spend the morning at the factory with a pass, and the timer starts. Then after 9 hours on the way home you pass the checkpoint, and the timer turns on. They usually pay 20-40 thousand per month for this.

Worked under the upwork tracker. Start-end time of work you include there yourself. The tracker takes a screenshot every 10 (like) minutes and somehow counts the activity of mouse movements and keyboard clicks. For several years of use, there have never been any questions from customers according to the tracker, I think that if the result suits you, then no one will even look at your screenshots. There is also a moment of screening out obviously inadequate customers before the start of work, but this is a separate issue.
Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with working under the tracker, but this is individual.
I didn’t understand the price of technical equipment at all, agree on a rate that suits you if you have a tracker - you will not work at the price of technical equipment.
Someone, I saw, when working under the tracker and thinking about the problem, opened a text editor and wrote something like "Reflections on the problem" in close-up
