Not to burn out
At one time, I listened with envy to the stories of a friend who regularly got up at 6 in the morning and studied for five hours and then switched to work. Having tried this method and other options for “emergency” modes, I realized that regularly combining 4-6 hours of study and work is a path to nowhere, to burnout and loss of interest in the field you are working on.
In the morning, after getting up and before work 40-60 minutes of English, grammar, exercises, complex texts. Over time, this becomes a habit, and if you miss the morning, then “breaking” begins, there is not enough mental “warm-up”.
On the way to the office, I use Anki (card technique) to review materials. I read saved articles during the day, during breaks or on the road. If the trip is long, then wearing headphones I look at the saved reports, making notes or notes on the same phone.
One, fifteen o'clock. I devote to practical training and practice in a new tool for work. Naturally, if there is an emergency at work, then I skip it or allow myself once a month, half a tare, after a difficult project, to take a week off, devoting time after work only to walks and rest.
and a simple rule - read one chapter to the end or at least 15 minutes of reading, if you get involved then read on. If not, then the chapter will suffice.
Previously, I set aside half of every Saturday for study, now after the start of “family” life, this happens infrequently, once every few weeks, but I don’t miss English and reading.
It is important not to overload yourself, the loss of interest after overload is terrible. The description above is the minimum program. Sometimes when "the eyes are burning" and it is interesting, then it is exceeded, sometimes there is time for personal projects, but the excesses are only strictly at will.

May I ask, what is the point of this information?
I am sure there are people who "sleep 6 hours + 18 hours work", there are people who work 1-2 hours a day, rest the rest, and there are those who do not work at all. But that doesn't mean that some do it right and others don't.
if you need money now - work
if you have money but in the future you want more - study more
if you have money and in general it’s enough - do more things that are interesting (your project / business / hobby) - it’s quite possible in the future you will earn more on this Total.
Good luck!
