I apologize in advance for a probably stupid / banal question. I have an HP Prodesk 600 G7 workstation with a Win10 Pro license installed. The machine is great but very noisy, and I would like to move it to another room and work on it remotely via RDP. Buying a laptop for these purposes is expensive, nettops with active cooling are also noisy, it makes no sense. If I take an HP thin client on Win 10 IoT, will such a bundle work or can the client only connect to Windows Server?

But just to run a cable and work, say, behind a concrete wall from a PC, this option will not work?
HDMI cable - you can take a long one, the keyboard is wireless.
or let's say buy a big cooler and adjust the speed yourself to make it quieter.
With HDD drives, the only option is to change to SSD.
