When installing CentOS 7 (as well as ubuntu 20.04 and ubuntu 18.04) on the server, there was a problem with connecting to the Internet during the installation stage. Writes no connection (unplugged). data for static ip checked 10 times, everything is ok. Network (and there are two of them) at the same time sees perfectly. intel x722 1gb. After installing the system without the Internet, it finds both cards in the same way through the console. When inspecting the cables, we realized that the indication on the connected cables is not lit. Everything was dismantled, there is no external damage (the server is brand new). What to do is not clear. The problem is elementary and I am more than sure that it is solved in a maximum of an hour, but I could not find a solution myself.

Are there gigabit ports on the switch? There were just moments when the server also did not want to work with a 100 Mbit switch

Go to BIOS and enable Maps. PHU for any should shine with bulbs if it sees the network
