The Wordress site has an empty index.html. What to do?

Paid for domain and hosting.
I registered in the DNS of the domain what is needed from the hosting.
Uploaded Wordpress.
I go to the site and gives out a white void (index.html is an empty file).
What to do?

remove index.html Should run index.php
