The sound is gone, nothing helps. Buy new?
PC has no sound. In the device manager, the device is displayed and works correctly. In the list of playback devices, speakers (headphones) are displayed, enabled and selected by default. And in general, the indicator shows that there is sound. The system was reinstalled twice, including Ubuntu 20.04 and Windows 10. I also reset the BIOS to factory settings. It's not about the speakers and not the headphones (tested many times). Sound comes out of the bluetooth headset. There is no sound on the front panel either (but, in my opinion, it never was there - it may not be connected correctly, xs). Sound built-in. Mother of Asus F2A55-MLK2. It disappeared, perhaps after soldering new conders into the columns. Buy a soundtrack? Or try to connect the front panel normally? What else can be done?

Possibly a broken connector. In this case, connecting the front panel correctly can help. It's not hard and it's free, so start there. Download the manual for the motherboard from the manufacturer, it says how to properly connect the front panel.
Buy a new one - always have time.
Something similar happened. Nothing helped - I bought a USB-zvukovuhu.
The sound card gave soul. Too bad it's built in. It's good that now you can choose a quality one.
