Can a system administrator?

Can a system administrator remotely notice a change in hardware on a computer on the network?
For example, change RAM or vidyuhu dice.
Is it possible to notice this without going into device manager etc.

Under Windows: type `systeminfo /S remotesystem` and see what has changed since the last time.

Yes. Moreover, there are special programs for this :) that collect information about hardware and display diffs. 10-Strike, for example.

Если используется System Center Configuration Manager, то там даже отчёт есть готовый. Аналитика активов - Оборудование 10А.
