The site falls in the issuance. What to do?

Good evening, habr!
We've had a disaster. Until December, I had a website in Yukoz. The domain was paid. The site was in the first positions in Yandex/Google and brought customers.
A month ago, we decided to move to paid hosting and change the letter in the domain name at the same time. We entrusted this matter to the "programmer". He made a site on WordPress, filled all the pages with the content of the old site, the domain from yukosa was transferred to majordomo and was made an alias to the new domain on which the site fit.
The programmer assured us that all links in Yandex would be saved and eventually indexed to the new domain.
No matter how.
The links then remained Yukoz ones, that is, they looked like /index/123/page and on WordPress they were /page and they all led to 404 through an alias.
3 days ago we found a person who redirected all 300 pages from yukoz to the new wordpress domain on the old domain. Now links from the search engine lead to the right materials, but positions are falling every day. The new domain has not been indexed for the second month. Yandex webmaster does not confirm the right to use the site for the 2nd day, although other sites did it in seconds.
We lose positions in search engines and customers. Catastrophe. What to do?

Check if the redirect is correct, it should be 301.
Just in case, here is Yandex's help on this matter and the contact form:

If the site was in the first positions, then you started the transition to a new domain wrong, a redirect is certainly good and will hint to the search engine about the new site, but initially it was necessary to deploy the new site without killing the old site, check the urls for performance and specify in the robots.txt file new site as a mirror
help.yandex.ru/webmaster/?id=996567#996574
then select the main mirror in the webmaster panel.
in my opinion, such a transition would be less painful, there is nothing to be done now.
let Yandex eat your new site when the new site settles in the search results already to watch. and think about what can be done to improve positions in the search results

Beat the "programmer" and take the money back.
