The simplest mail server on Linux?
Good day everyone!
There was a need to raise a mail server to send e-mail from the MFP (scans and other office nonsense). In this regard, the question is: what is the simplest solution you advise?
Yesterday all the day long fought with iRedMail. I set it up, through the web muzzle and third-party software like Thunderbird, it sends mail, but the MFP sends away. Swears, apparently, the lack of certificates.
I'm not strong in mail matters, so I need a simple solution through port 25 without any certificates and encryption. Is there such a thing? :)

The simplest solution is to raise exim4 + dovecot, there are a lot of articles. Rises in an hour.
As for the MFU, I did not quite understand how this MFU communicates with mail? He stupidly sends a letter with a scanned document to the mail account? Or does it work like a printer/scanner in the traditional sense? If the latter, then you need to install the CUPS printing subsystem, and already through it to conjure with sending mail.
