How to burn a linux mint installation to a flash drive?

There is a usb flash drive. She's loaded. It has programs from Acronis (disk director and true image). Is it possible to add a linux distribution to a USB flash drive, thereby not overwriting the existing program on the USB flash drive. Now on a windows 8.1 laptop Thanks.

You can do this
www.pendrivelinux.com/tag/multiboot-live-usb
or
unetbootin.sourceforge.net
or
pick a flash drive and read about bootloaders like GRUB

I think that it is impossible, because there is only one bootloader and it will be overwritten.
I understand that these programs are low-level and they are loaded from a flash drive, as from a bootable one, right? They work without an OS, right? So, the Linux distribution will overwrite the mbr record, I think.
Perhaps you can somehow make them friends using grub, but this is not an easy task in two clicks. You have to be technically savvy to solve this problem. Therefore, in theory it is possible, but difficult, so my answer is "no" when it comes to writing an image to a flash drive without pain.

Only if grub is installed. But if it's not difficult, just do everything according to the instructions and add your programs and your OS.
