Why is the video stuttering?

Periodically (for 40 minutes of video two or three times), video stutters, any avi, mpeg, youtube, in the browser, vlc, mplayer.
How to identify the cause?
ubuntu mate 14.04, VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09), I don’t know what drivers cost, everything is out of the box.

Apparently it's just in the video drivers, try to install a proprietary driver.
#UPD What is the video card itself? Is there a discrete graphics card?

Remove pulseaudio first.
