The service is hidden behind a VPN network. Who faced?
I want to connect SMS-informing clients on the site. Agreed with a megaphone. He provided the IP address of the SMPP server (for sending SMS), which is hidden behind a VPN (IPSec, they also gave access). I understand correctly that hosting will not be able to implement this?
PS: in fact, it doesn’t work on the LAN either (I add a new connection in Windows. But the Internet (which is also vpn) disappears). All for the sake of one address.

Hosting (in the classical sense of the term) will not work. If hosting is understood as VPS / VDS or other types of dedicated servers, then it will work.
On Windows, you can’t, because the default VPN settings make the VPN connection a gateway to the Internet. You just need to set it up correctly.
Everything will turn out, the question is what kind of connection scheme ..
VPN can be solved by static routing.
The type of route to the IP service must go through the specified vpn connection.
Registration in the table is carried out by the route command.
