The RAM contact burned out. Is it possible to recover?

In a hurry, I inserted the RAM "back to front", one contact burned out (as well as a slot on the motherboard, but this is not about it).
Fifth, a certain "VSS", if you look at this DDR3 pinout:

Google did not answer the question: what does "VSS" mean? What is this contact for? And if I restore it with a soldering iron, will the memory work? There is no way to check DDR3 yet ... I switched to DDR4 a long time ago.

Земля. Не страшно. Скорее всего сама память не пострадала. Осталось найти контакт для неё...

Как вам это удалось сделать, тем более в спешке? Спешно молотком забивали? Предварительно выпилить ключ в слоте в спешке было бы сложно.
например. Vss - ground. С другой стороны, если не ошибся, V DDSPD с 3-3,6V. Вместо земли. Т.е. будет странно, если такое издевательство планка пережила, даже если не смотреть остальные контакты.
