The power cable often breaks, what should I do?

Often the power cable breaks about once a month, is it normal at all or is there something wrong with my power supply unit?
If there are problems with the power supply, then what should I do, buy a new one or change the connector?

These cables are completely standard, widespread, and they all work without problems. Therefore, check what you do not change every month - a 220 volt socket and a 220 volt block in the PSU on your computer. Perhaps the pins loosened there, or something else equally elementary.

This is completely abnormal. The power cable is the most dusty part of the computer :) It works not only for years - decades :) There are usually so many of them even at home that you don’t know where to put them (not to mention their deposits in any admin backroom)

And what did you check with a multimeter, a break in the conductor?

I have 3 or 4 unnecessary ones lying around at home, both long and short. As it was already correctly written here, it has been holding for decades, not years.
If they don’t wind them around the elbow every time after work, I don’t know what should kill them.
Here my wife twists the wires from household appliances so that my heart bleeds ..
Well, you probably have a problem with the connectors ..

I'd kick an idiot in the legs, or in the head.
Even on mobile phones, my connectors last 1.5 -2 years
