The post office lost a package from the USA. What to do?
On February 11, I was sent by EMS a brand new Motorola Droid 2 phone and a Logitech Performance MX mouse, which "they" cost half as much.
The parcel has not yet reached me and the tracking is not tracked at all. The call center claims that the parcel did not arrive in Russia.
The parcel is insured, not so sorry for the money, but for the time.
Please share your advice if you have been in this situation. Is it really possible to wait for the parcel? Can it get stuck somewhere or is it already in your pocket? Is it possible to speed up the search by calling, writing to someone?

In what sense is it not tracked? Is there a record of export or at least acceptance?
Try to check with the seller for the tracking number and see if it came out at all. My package left the US on the 12th and only last Friday arrived in Russia. Most likely yours, if it exists, will come in a week or two.
First of all. You will have problems at customs, as this is a branded product - you will pay duties and clear customs. Secondly, I think the parcel was not lost, but stuck at customs. Wait another week 2.
My opinion is that all the problems are due to branded goods, this is the main hemorrhoid of customs ...
thanks for your attention
A similar situation happened.
I ordered a tablet from a trusted seller on February 2, from the 11th in the USPS tracking I saw only Electronic Shipping Info Received . On the 24th, when I got tired of waiting, I turned to the seller and asked to find out what was happening with the package. He failed to find out what was wrong with the package (I don’t know why), and on the 26th I received my refund.
PS The status of the departure has not changed since then.
Also had the same problem. I bought a phone on ibee, the seller sent it (300+ reviews and all positive). But I never received it, it was not imported to Russia.
At the end of the term, a dispute was created, I waited a couple more weeks, then asked the seller to return the money. He said "I'm not in business, do whatever you want," I had to transfer him to the stigma. Paypal closed it in my favor and returned all the money.
But purely my opinion is “how it was in reality” - he ended up in Russia, but the box was stupidly taken and stolen. Without even noting that he appeared on import. I don’t know if this is possible, although in Russia everything is possible :D
It is dangerous to buy phones abroad, although if through ebay, then you can return the money.
In your place, I would not worry, as you were written above, wait a little more, there will be no phone - write a dispute, the money will be returned. It happens that they return the money, but then the parcel arrives, but here it all depends on the honesty of the buyer.
By the way, on ebay-forum.ru there is a topic with tracking numbers, see how many parcels are now coming from the USA.
Firstly, a month is not a deadline for our mail, alas. Secondly - the track number begins with what letter? If with L, then this is the first class and, in principle, it is not tracked by us. The USPS website doesn't actually have one either.
Open a dispute if the case on eBay happens - let the seller sort it out.
From the USA, the package usually takes 8-10 (priority), 5-7 (express) days (pah-pah-pah), except for the New Year period. But then he travels from Moscow to the Urals for two weeks (they carry something on dogs).
Now I also have only “E-mail notification of the parcel number” hanging with one product, but not enough time has passed, in two weeks I will start to worry ... Do you also have a code like LN *** US? They seem to be without an identifier of an old destination and it is impossible or problematic to follow them ...
EMS is an impenetrable office. The tracing department never picks up the phone.
They only responded to my complaint after 1.5 months. Well, i.e. stated the fact, did not apologize and there was no question of compensation.
Instead of delivering the package to me, they sent it back to China.
A parcel from the USA usually leaves the sender, arrives at some postal hub, and from there flies to the Russian Federation. Before the parcel receives the status "exported", its status in the US Postal Service can be tracked on the United States Postal Service website

I think it’s clearer and easier to determine where and at what stage the package got stuck, and to whom to make claims. Judging by the status you wrote, the parcel might not have left the seller at all. "Email notification of shipment received" may mean that the sender printed a label from the site and took the tracking number, that's it.
