The motherboard chipset does not support RAID. Will it work through a PC-Ix16 RAID controller?

I chose a motherboard for my needs: MSI H110M PRO-VD PLUS.
Everything was fine until the moment when I remembered the chipset. After reading the electronic manual, I saw that the H110 chipset does not support RAID.
Question: on a PC with this motherboard, you can’t do RAID at all, or is it still possible if you use a PC-Ix16 RAID controller?

Why do you need RAID at all and why do you not like software? He does not need anything at all, except for support from the OS.
From iron RAID there are only problems, at least to the level that you can afford.

Chipset under-RAID - this is from the "I want it to be" section. No one uses them for at least some serious purposes, and vmware generally does not support them in principle. When the task arises, for example, of data safety, a noticeably better solution would be to strangle the toad, buy a used RAID controller and do everything on the basis of it. The same adaptec 5405 (for 4 ports) or 5805 (for 8 ports) is quite realistic to buy for 7000 rubles.
