The monitor is flashing. Off and on for half a second. I set the Eco mode - it stops blinking, but this is not what is needed. Why?

I set the Standard mode, and reduce the brightness to 40 - it does not blink. The higher the brightness, the faster it starts flashing. It's on the buttons on the side of the monitor. Monitor BenQ GL2450H. There is no driver here. What could be the reason? They also say the problem is in the PSU, but the system unit has recently changed, and the old one had the same problem. Then the problem itself was solved when I decided to increase the brightness. Now she's back...

Do not confuse! You mean the computer's power supply, and those who told you this meant the monitor's power supply . After all, it is obvious that the monitor's power supply is overloaded (more precisely, it overheats), protection is triggered, the monitor turns off, and when it cools down, it turns on again, and the cycle repeats.
In Eco mode, the brightness appears to be lowered. This reduces the load on the PSU, and the protection stops working.
