The lowest entry threshold - design/drawing or programming? Who to study?

* I ask you to really help, and not to sting in the comments. Answers of non-designers and non-programmers are not needed.
Hello. Thank you in advance. For those who don't want the details, you can read my question now and answer. If you do not mind spending time on the details of my situation, I write below.
The question is - who can you unlearn faster, a graphic designer (I like drawing more, but it’s obviously still longer there), in order to be at the initial level and start working in a couple of months, half a year or a year (maximum)? Or is it faster to learn some programming language, relatively simple of many, and work the same way? Well, or is it even possible to earn money by drawing illustrations and the like in a year (if you advertise and post on social networks)? Tk likes it too, while I'm new to it, there is no obvious talent. I still think programming is easier, well, design than drawing. It is in terms of the threshold of entry. What do you think?
My situation is this, I am now in the 2nd year of the correspondence graph design (the 1st course was full-time). I'm not going to leave the university! The real design will be only from the 3rd course. Well, + I understand that one university is just a help in learning, but it cannot give a professional, because the teachers themselves are not designers, this education is still in Russia and so on. Well, now I actually have more time than before. There is a desire to work, but in the IT industry (better than gaming). I want to start working at least somewhere, and in 2 years I want to move to another city, where there is a big demand for IT. That is, I want to start earning in about half a year, as a maximum. There is no point in standing still and waiting for a crust. But knowing a little about design and the art industry, it becomes clear to me that it’s still quite easy to learn and work as a designer, but there is no graphic artist + huge competition, even in small towns + high requirements, even for beginners. But what about programming, will it be easier to enter the industry and how soon, if you start with an easy language, then replenish your knowledge? I like this and that, I can not choose one thing for a couple of years.

Like this:
1. Learn to learn. To study: methodologies of reading, note-taking, memorization. There is such a book "remember everything", it is just about how, in principle, to learn more efficiently, more useful links in my answers. Edward de Bono, Tony Buzan - mast reed. Set up the workplace and yourself: more light, water, eat / sleep at the same time. Palming, interleaving, walking, sit-ups, push-ups, learn to breathe. This is the minimum to improve the biochemistry of the body - and this directly affects mood and mood.
2. Believe it or not, there is no competition in the market. From cover to cover we read the advice of the editor-in-chief - a letter is always useful. We watch Sergei Filipov's YouTube channel from cover to cover, read his books - sales skills, calls and self-presentation will always come in handy. You take it, you approach 1000 people on the street within a month, two, three. Do you think. Why: remove the importance, tightness, shake the psyche. You prank, look for a library, ask for the time, and anything you like - you pump the skill of communication, improvisation, stress resistance and, if you have enough imagination, sales.
3.Raise the bar, create desires. Write on a piece of paper. Turn on the curious monkey: immerse yourself in the information field of the subject being studied. If you want, start by looking at the logos of programming languages or viewing posters on Google, or simply listen to thematic videos on YouTube at a speed of 1.75, 2. Form a habit.
4. Now that you have an idea of how to write, what to write about, how to call, how to sell, how to study properly, how to communicate, etc., it makes sense to start practicing.
Graphic design: you buy 2000 A4 sheets, at least pencils. You take any situation, for example, four hawks are dancing around the moon. You draw it every day in different semantic variants every day, 1 drawing. Along the way, you look at the basic elements of layout, read at least 3 books about composition and start drawing abstract shapes on pieces of paper, stuff your hand.
We look at foreign YouTubers, where they sort out the drawing chips in flash, chandelier, etc.

I like this and that, I can not choose one thing for a couple of years.
You study this and that. Do not listen to the nonsense about the fact that it is impossible to study PL and design. For certain tasks it is possible and necessary.
HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP - download htmlacademy courses from torrents + go through all the interactive courses on their website, read MDN. We download any code editor and turn on a curious monkey: I drew a flower with a bee in a vector - you make a web page where there will be only this picture, you make it an animation, you make it adaptive. I learned something - immediately try it in the browser, poke, press, do shit. Until you understand the mechanics. If we are talking about other PLs, you come up with a task for yourself and create a primitive product on this PL.
We don't whine. We open Google, watch exhibitions, choose a niche, choose firms. We are looking for a decision maker, we call him, in advance with prepared developments. You set conditions before work. Emotional capture, position from above, a bit of confidence, competent self-presentation, BENEFITS FROM WORK and ready-made developments - catches on the go.
6. You need to be a curious monkey, but you don’t have to be dumb. Answers stupid monkey:
- Yes, count, the work can be done before the sale. Use as an operating time for entering a niche.
- Yes, think about it, you can do it without a portfolio.
- Yes, count, sometimes you need to go buy a book. Well, yes, work for free. Well, yes, go to another city. Well, yes, call the decision maker directly. Well, yes, take it and find it: Rusprofile, search by name, by photo, by mailhunter, etc.
- Estimate, you can break patterns: look for clients everywhere, on the Internet by writing in a personal, on the street, in the subway, on all sorts of thematic things.
- It's never too late.
Another feature of a stupid monkey is that she expects someone to owe her, instead of going and taking it herself. Life is a taking away game (c)
7 Play it.

Fast entry threshold to where you like. You won't learn anything from under the stick.

there is no point in waiting

This and other consolations from the same series do not roll. Without a military education, no matter what the half-educated people say.
On the subject: a low barrier to entry implies more competition. Don't look for the easy way.

Design, drawing - this is creativity, creativity plus a trained hand. And programming is clear logic, work step by step, algorithm, mathematics. Completely different professions.
If you don’t have a soul for programming, then I think it’s not worth it to climb. Moreover, you are a girl, and girls are much better at creative professions.
I think you should still finish your school. And in your free time, watch training videos on Youtube, master Adobe programs on your own, fill your hand and portfolio. Then you can try to go freelancing and earn some money there.
Believe me, programming is very difficult. If you don’t have a soul for this, it’s better not to even waste time.

In Russia, the work of a designer is a low-paid hard labor, designers are not considered specialists here, and you will always have dozens of stupid edits from clients, regardless of your experience and knowledge, because taste and subjective assessment rule in design.
