The laptop produces a blue screen if I select 1440p quality on YouTube, will it be the same if I connect a 1920 * 1080 monitor to it?

My new monitor is coming to me, but it will arrive earlier than the new PC. I would like to check it for dead pixels immediately upon receipt, but so far I can only connect via HDMI to a laptop that cuts out from 1440p on YouTube. Should we expect the same result?

Certainly. The output device has nothing to do with it.

Check the monitor not with YouTube, but with special software for checking.
There are online options, like this , and there are desktop ones with even more tests.
