The laptop does not see an external video card connected via exp gdc?

I would be grateful to everyone for help in resolving the issue of connecting an external video card to a laptop. The problem is that when connected, the video card is not detected, the computer starts up, the
external video card seems to work too, the fans spin, the lights are on (I checked the video card on a stationary one, it works). But there is nothing in the device manager and does not want to appear. Switched levers. What else can be done?
Laptop: Sony SVF14N1L2R Processor
type - Core i7
Processor frequency - 1800 MHz
RAM size - 8 GB DDR3L
Storage capacity - 500 GB SSD
Video processor - Intel HD Graphics 4400 (integrated only)
BIOS version stripped down - nothing about the video card, there is no new version either found.
EXP GDC version 8.3
Mini PCI-E Cable
Power supply from DELL for 220W, seems to be powerful at the output 12V--18A
Video card Asus Geforce GTX 670 2GB
Thank you in advance for your help.

It seems to me that it shows quite clearly how to connect a video card, but if you are an ordinary user, I do not advise you to do this.
